ORACLE: Avenger Of Darkness Chapter 30As the sun sets, fireworks and cheering took over the usual serenity and peacefulness of Icicle Castle. It was the grand one hundred and one anniversary of the nation and by decree, it was a night to enjoy. By sheer luck, the weather seemed to be playing along with the joyful occasion; it was a clear starry night sky.
On the balcony of the west wing, Luna leaned out on the railing; overlooking the bright village on the ground and the fireworks and stars in the sky. Sunny was preparing herself to go to the royal dance in the main hall and Aurora was having a nap on the soft bed.
“Luna, are you sure that you don’t want to go?” Sunny asked again for about the fifth time since that afternoon. Luna merely shook her head and continued to attune herself to icy environment of Icicle Castle as part of her combat training. “If it’s about me accidentally setting fire to all those….”
“It’s not that.” Luna repli
A Solstice To Remember Part 2 (Christmas Special)
As we continued on through the new maze that formed in front of us, my hiccups soon ceased but then my tummy decided to have a go.
The sound waves ricocheted off the maze walls, making it really loud. I flushed when Shine turned back to look at me.
“Wow, what a big growl from such a little girl.” Shine teased playfully. I had enough of her baby treatment, so I jumped onto her back and bit her ears in return. “Ow! But I am sorry, I didn’t bring any food for you.”
“It’s a good thing I did then….” I commented as I pointed out a good spot to settle down for a while, steering Shine there while I am at it. There was a good hollowed out room that shielded us from view from any incoming hostiles. We sat down and I undid my carrier; I shoved the bottles aside until I found a small bento box with pink flowery patterns on it. Inside was a pleasant looking lunch: some hot stuffed potatoes wrapped in an insulted foil; and also som

A cold draft could be felt as I cuddled under the blanket; my sensitive nose caught a frost and I turned around to bury it into the warmth of the pillow. My eyes remained shut as I tried to get a few more minutes’ shuteye.
Today is the eve of the winter solstice (we used to call it Christmas); every Pokémon here on Nimbus Isle celebrates this event yearly. Nimbus Isle is a relatively small island that has only one institute standing: the Aura Battle Academy. This college was built about fifty Decadance cycles ago; it took in Pokémon that have the talent of using Aura, not limited to Riolus and Lucarios, and trained them to be able to master their gift and to be tough warriors. Pokémon from around the globe send their foals here to be educated and were willing whatever expenses. For me, I am not considered a student but I still live here.
In preparation of the upcoming event: decorations are hanging from every possible location (
ORACLE: Avenger Of Darkness Chapter 29“Do you think this is it? The dining room is on the third floor, right?” Luna asked as they approach a huge and elegantly decorated door, similar to many before.
“I don’t know and we better find it soon or Aurora might just eat my ears for breakfast….” Sunny said as Aurora began to grow restless and started to nibble at Sunny’s ear if she caught it. Sunny pushed the door open then the warm aroma entered their noses.
Aurora shifted about until she was leaning on Sunny’s head over looking what was in front. Before them was a full table loaded with various brunch delicacies. Randy was rolling about when they came in.
“Oh hello! Did you all have a nice rest?” Randy asked as he rolled up to them. “The princess is very busy today so she instructed me to tell you that these foods are prepared for you and after you finish, please proceed to the dress room in the east wing tower’s fifth floor.”
ORACLE: Avenger Of Darkness Chapter 28Under the dark scarlet sky with the moon partly covered by the clouds, in a location unknown, there was a secret meeting. The leader of the Snow Diablos, Soren, floated into the specific meeting area and sat down with five other Pokémon. The only source of light was the dimly lit candle at the center. Captain Meriul of the Yucca Pirates had a conversation with a mysterious Pokémon known by the group as the ‘Master’ before the meeting started.
“Prepare for a retaliation from the federation… they would not like it when an entire guild gets captured.”
“I know and I am prepared….” Meriul replied with great respect. Then when everyone gathered, the secret meeting started.
“Glad you came…. Now if that’s everyone, we can start.” A voice said, with its husky texture; its owner concealed behind the darkness of the room. “I heard that you recently failed to get a hold of the object
ORACLE: Avenger Of Darkness Chapter 27As Luna and Sunny shut the door to Aurora’s ward, they found Frosty and Randy waiting around for them. Randy handed Frosty some papers that looked official and important and Frost inspected it thoroughly.
“Are you sure there were no records of that Eevee?” Frosty inquired as she scanned through each paper. Luna and Sunny approached them and they noticed that some of the papers were mostly posters of missing Pokémon.
“Are you trying to see if Aurora is one of the missing Pokémon from your town?” Luna asked as she walked up to Frosty.
Frost merely nodded in silence as she flipped through the final pages and then passed the stack back to Randy. They all sat down at a nearby rest area; a few rows of chairs with a couple of vending machines nearby before Frosty explained what she was doing.
“I was trying to find out if…” Frosty started before she realized something. “Wait… Aurora? Is that
ORACLE: Avenger Of Darkness Chapter 26“Alright that should be fine now. Just take care not to strain yourself for a few days.” A doctor from Icicle Hospital said as she finished wrapping the new bandages over the applied antidote sprayed on the wound. Sunny thanked the doctor before she got out of the treatment room. Luna was waiting patiently outside but at the same time, she was waiting to hear from the doctor about the little Eevee they rescued earlier.
The operation light was still lit and there were a few cries coming from inside. Frosty was also waiting along with Sunny and Luna, she sent her steward, Randy, somewhere as well.
Time slowly passed and then the moment came when the light went off and the doctors and surgeons walked out. Frosty immediately conversed with one expert that she knew well.
“Her wings were badly smashed but we managed to get it together again. She needs months to recover from all those broken hollow bones.” The expert said and Frosty thanked him and
ORACLE: Avenger Of Darkness Chapter 25Things were looking bad for Luna and Sunny as the aftermath of the encounter with the Night Stalker left them with a lot of injuries: Luna caught a very bad flu due to a blast from a freeze grenade and Sunny took a few poisonous silver darts to her left side and now its infected; they both lumbered out of their hiding spot which was a den and they tried to head due west.
The sun was beginning to set and they could not even see Icicle Castle, a dense fog had rolled in. Using Sunny’s fire, they managed to stay together. Sunny was starting to feel strange as time continued to pass: her wound started to twinge and Sunny felt dizzy as well. Luna was not faring any better: she was on the verge of simply collapsing and her fever was getting higher by the minute. The fog was so thick that Luna and Sunny were now unsure if they were heading the right way or going around in circles.
“What’s with the fog?” Sunny commented, miffed by the stinging pain. “
ORACLE: Avenger Of Darkness Chapter 24After a day of hectic preparation, Luna and Sunny finally set off on the road to Icicle Castle. Sunny had never been anywhere past the forested borders between Spring Town as it was too far away from her home. So now after a few days venturing due east, our two Eevees find themselves in a place known as Frostbite Forest.
Frostbite Forest is the dense forest between Spring Town and Icicle Castle; the temperature plummets to near sub-zero degrees the moment you enter the forest. Icicles were stuck onto the underside of every tree branch. Snow covered most of the foliage and unfortunately, including the path as well.
Luna and Sunny had donned their winter wear as they trudged through the snow; Sunny wore a thick yellow thermal coat while Luna wore a thick azure blue coat with her black traveling robe over it. The clouds had rolled in due to the wind and it began to snow as well. Sunny’s eyes widened at the sight of the white landscape, being her first tim
Words In The Rain
Donnie watched Mikey silently pulled on his rain boots and coat; while Donnie did the same. Everyone else had long since fallen asleep but not him and Mikey. They’d both lain awake in their bed, occasionally poking the other to make sure they were still awake. Only when the gentle sounds of their father’s snores reached their ears did they know they were safe to move. Slowly they’d gotten out of bed before silently pulling on their boots and coats while doing their best not to wake their brother’s or father. In front of him Donnie watched as Mikey struggled to do up the buttons in his coat. Giggling slightly Donnie pushed his little brother’s fingers out of the way and did the buttons for him; snapping them into place before buttoning up his own jackets before grinning at Mikey.
Mikey grinned back at him and nodded “yeah!”
A second later the 6 year old turtle clasped his hands over his mouth, his eyes going wide in fear tha

Mike was cleaning the camera lens for the fourth time that evening when Mr. Prez walked in red faced.
“Still no answer?” Mike asked.
Mr. Prez clenched his phone with rage. “Still no answer.” He said pinching his nose. He looked around the room. All the equipment was set up; the lights, the camera, the props. Everything was in place for the photo shoot except the thing they were shooting.
“I can't believe she did this again. How does she expect to make to make it in this industry if she is always late or a no show?” Mr. Prez said with his head pointed toward the ceiling.
“Maybe she just got caught up? Mike said putting the camera down.
“Oh please I'm tired of her excuses, it's always something.” Mr. Prez looked down at his watch. “Oh we're running out of time and I need these pictures for the spread next week. I can't have another late entry, the outlet will never forgive me.”
Mr. Prez started pacing back and forth.
Latex MummyInside of an old museum, was a brand new exhibit which was focused on Egyptian Queen Hut Tut Sut, a queen that wasn't very popular due to the fact she loved latex. In the blazing heat of Egypt latex was the last thing anyone wanted to wear and it was her obsession with the stuff that brought down her rule in the end.
As the museum owner, a middle aged woman with strawberry blonde hair wearing a dark orange suit and dark tights walked up to the coffin that held the mummified form of Queen Hut Tut Sut, she was pleased her place was getting something new.
She was also interested to see if the Queen was wrapped up in latex bandages, usually the mummify bandage is usually cloth but seeing how the queen loved latex the thought was too great not to check out. Grinning she slowly slide the lid off the coffin under a full blue moon which something on the hieroglyphics warned not to and peered inside and became instantly ecstatic.
What she saw was proof enough, the mummy was indeed wrapped up in
Roana Hood: An alerntive Robin Hood Chapter 1It started with a stormy night. The rain lashed relentlessly against the windows while lightning shock the ground and thunder filled the air. In a little house on the outskirts of the village, close to the forest, were 2 young children huddled in the corner near the fireplace to hide from the frightening monsters that haunted the air and threatened to steal them from their kind old grandmother, who was sitting in her rocking chair, smiling at her grandchildren's fear of the natural weather.
"Come on children, the thunder and lightning will not harm you. It is merely God moving his furniture around." the grandmother told her children, trying to take their minds off of the frequent storms that had hit their homeland for the past few weeks. "Well he's been changing his mind a lot them hasn't he?" said the older one, a boy called Simon, retorted. His younger sister, called Emily, giggled at his joke while their grandmother laughed along. She smiled at him and laughed again when his frown w

Breakfast was an odd affair. All around them patrons of the diner eat and chatting; seemingly without a care in the world. In front of him Mikey watched as Leo stirred his oatmeal absentmindedly. He’d been doing that for several minutes now, pushing the slushy grains around without actually eating any of them. Mikey himself had practically inhaled the waffle, eggs, and hashbrowns that he had ordered. Now he sat watching as Leo continued to stir his food, a look of reserved fear flickering across his face. “Leo…..” Mikey kept his voice soft so as not to startle Leo; but also so as not to let anyone else here him. Leo looked up at him, his eyes that of someone who was scared and confused. “I’m……..I’m not hungry.” Leo pushed the bowl away

It was raining when you had arrived in Burgess, the drops hitting the windshield repeatedly until a rhythm could be heard. It held no resemblance to the water droplets you had heard back home, because, of course, you were inside a car and the water back home had never actually struck any window because of the house layout. Also, you had never actually taken the time to look at the falling rain; once when you had checked how many inches of water it had rained, you had simply placed a cylinder out in the lawn, but didn’t bother to see it fill up. Now, with absolutely nothing to do, your eyes had been glued to the scenery and then to the rain that broke from the clouds above.
The weather helped your current mood in nothing, serving only to drag you into a more depressing state than you had already been. It was dark and gloomy and wet and, much to your utter shock, actually cold. You had once or twice peeked over at Jamie, but he had only given you a smile, which you didn’t ret
Medved' Beis II- Chapter 9Ruyak glanced around at the panicking villagers, himself torn between amusement and pity. He raised an eyebrow at a man with a small cartload of jarred fruits as a few of his stock bounced out and began rolling away in different directions over the mud. At first the merchant scrambled to recapture the runaways, then he seemed to rethink his priorities and ended up abandoning the whole cart.
“Standing around like this seems… counter-productive,” Ruyak said, his face twisted between a concerned frown and an entertained smirk as the man ran away.
“That depends on what we’re trying to accomplish.”
“Well, I was rather hoping to make a point," Kaelin replied slowly from her perch on top of Ruyak's shoulders, “but I wasn’t expecting this much hysteria. I thought most people would still be in their houses.”
Suddenly a small child ran out into the middle of the chaos, looking frightened and confused. She stopped

'Great,' You furrowed your brow in utter exasperation, glaring angrily at the principal's desk, barely paying any attention to what he was saying.
'This is just what I needed... Yep.' You crossed your arms and leaned back into the wooden "Discipline Chair", rolling your eyes.
"I'm going to let this slide for today, Ms. (Y/N). But only because you're new to this school, and we want you to have a pleasant learning experience while here. But you had better straighten up, and I expect that you won't let this happen again, correct?" He leaned forward in his chair, tipping his glasses down, waiting expectantly for your reply.
"...Yeah, sure... Of course, Mr. Principal, sir."
"Yes," He spun around in his chair, his back now facing you. "But just to make sure there aren't any 'misunderstandings', I will be sending a note home with you." This caught your attention.
Volunteer (Part 6d: Twist)I'm thoroughly enjoying myself, though I get a little unsettled when I realize the costume the magician is changing me into is pretty close to the one from that horrible dream. I start to wish I'd asked Julia about it, even if it was nothing, but obviously it's a bit late for that now.
I try to push it aside, though, and focus on playing my role for the audience. The reactions of the crowd and the much more involved give-and-take make it feel ten times as exciting as that first time in the club. I start to wonder if it would be legitimately possible to give up my job and just make a living doing performances like this.
When he makes the final change, I can't see what he's done, but I can feel the heavier makeup on my face and the pigtails, and by awkwardly twisting my arm around, my fingers are able to brush over a thick cylindrical shape protruding from my back.
Short Stories: Pie "Hey Sunny, did you bought the ingredients I asked for?" Caroline asked as she heard the door's lock became undone.
Her little sister, Sunny, came in with a few bags of groceries and set them down on the kitchen table; her uplifting smile asked her older sister's question and she started to unpack. Caroline locked the door before returning to the kitchen to help unpack.
"Why did you ask me to buy this strange stuff that we almost never use?" asked Sunny as she inspected a bag of flour.
"We are going to do a sister to sister bonding session by baking pies!"
The word 'pies' caused a rush of excitement as Sunny always loved to cook things but she was a little loss when it comes remembering recipes so her sister always lend her a hand. Caroline and Sunny split up to gather up all of the required cookery; Caroline also arranged the items that Sunny bought so that it was easier to find what they needed. Caroline instructed Sunny on how to use the oven that was off-limits unless under sup
