ORACLE: Avenger Of Darkness Chapter 33“I will be taking something now and as the exit clause… if you regain what I took, you’re free of your contract. But until then, you would be forever bound by to every word stated.”
“I know… I said it already: I do not care for the price.” I said to the shadowy figure before me as I held out my paw and left my mark on the floating paper.
“It’s nice doing business with you… daughter of the Moon: Luna.”
“You’re welcome… Polaris.”
Luna woke up from her sleep with a start. She was covered in cold sweat as she took a while to grasp the situation she was in: she was back in her suite in the castle with Aurora lying asleep on Sunny’s bed; oddly, Sunny was nowhere to be seen; Luna was also covered in bandages and she could not move her body for some reason. Judging from the light levels i
A Vision Of Paradise 1: Chapter 1I am an orphan with a powerful Arcanum linage. I am adopted by the principal of one of the many Magical Schools in this city. Classes were always been a bore. I am considered to be one of the best mages in a town where the only training facilities were available. The society I live in is really a let down from what I would have expected one of the top cities in the country.
There was a dividing line between three different factions in the city: Mages, Psionics and of course, the Talentless. Every day, there would be scuffle between the three due to the conflicting interests and types. The city had to keep tabs on all Mages and Psionics to ensure that they could maintain peace and also if a crime where to involve the aforementioned parties, their powers and abilities could be easily accessed and be known publicly. We were all part of a big experiment that granted us powers beyond comprehension and physical limitation but at the same time, we were to abide by add
ORACLE: Avenger Of Darkness Chapter 32Five bombs detonated around the room and the anticipated chaos proceeded with like a ripple on the surface of water. The music stopped and screaming took over as everyone scrambled for the exits while bracing their heads for impact from falling debris. Sunny was caught in the pandemonium and swept off with the crowd. Frosty stood up with a reasonable amount of excessive force and ordered the guards to help evacuate everyone and make sure nobody else gets hurt. Aurora was startled awake and she began to look around with a blank expression; Luna set down Aurora on a nearby chair before realizing that Sunny was nowhere to be seen.
“Who are you?” Frosty demanded as she confronted the mysterious intruder. The cloaked Pokémon pocketed the orb and then turned his attention around on Frosty but his gaze seemed to be on Luna instead.
The explosions from earlier had reduced what was supposed to be the dance floor into ruins. Frosty, by using the same technique, r
ORACLE: Avenger Of Darkness Chapter 31The sun had set and the moon was raised. The entire population of Icicle Castle was in celebration of a special event. It was almost like a town wide carnival as everyone was enjoying the night. Luna was leaving a local shop in the corner of the town. It was a gift shop that was well decorated with ice crystals and had a clear glass display that housed an assortment of fluffy soft toys and knickknacks.
“Thank you! You’re so kind.” Luna thanked and bowed politely to the shop owner from the doorway. The shopkeeper had given her a medium sized box with ribbons tied elegantly around it.
“No… thank you! You had been a great help.”
Luna bit and pulled up her cloak around her body, the hood was placed over her head to conceal her identity before walking carefully into the street. Luna strolled through the town, carrying a small gift box that was wrapped neatly with pink ribbons. Opting for a crowded route to avoid unwanted attention, L
A Solstice To Remember Part 2 (Christmas Special)
As we continued on through the new maze that formed in front of us, my hiccups soon ceased but then my tummy decided to have a go.
The sound waves ricocheted off the maze walls, making it really loud. I flushed when Shine turned back to look at me.
“Wow, what a big growl from such a little girl.” Shine teased playfully. I had enough of her baby treatment, so I jumped onto her back and bit her ears in return. “Ow! But I am sorry, I didn’t bring any food for you.”
“It’s a good thing I did then….” I commented as I pointed out a good spot to settle down for a while, steering Shine there while I am at it. There was a good hollowed out room that shielded us from view from any incoming hostiles. We sat down and I undid my carrier; I shoved the bottles aside until I found a small bento box with pink flowery patterns on it. Inside was a pleasant looking lunch: some hot stuffed potatoes wrapped in an insulted foil; and also som
A Solstice To Remember Part 1 (Christmas Special)
A cold draft could be felt as I cuddled under the blanket; my sensitive nose caught a frost and I turned around to bury it into the warmth of the pillow. My eyes remained shut as I tried to get a few more minutes’ shuteye.
Today is the eve of the winter solstice (we used to call it Christmas); every Pokémon here on Nimbus Isle celebrates this event yearly. Nimbus Isle is a relatively small island that has only one institute standing: the Aura Battle Academy. This college was built about fifty Decadance cycles ago; it took in Pokémon that have the talent of using Aura, not limited to Riolus and Lucarios, and trained them to be able to master their gift and to be tough warriors. Pokémon from around the globe send their foals here to be educated and were willing whatever expenses. For me, I am not considered a student but I still live here.
In preparation of the upcoming event: decorations are hanging from every possible location (
ORACLE: Avenger Of Darkness Chapter 30The east wing tower stands tall bearing southwest from the castle’s central hallway. Its architecture was based off one of the two elements that made up ice: wind; the tower looks like a full size cyclone. Each floor was approximately a hundred and twenty steps vertically between. The top of the tower rests a sculpted dragon that acts as the observatory and a special room. The floors were lined with marble and it created a swirl effect with gray veins; the crystalline bricks used to build the tower reflect, refract and even bounce light around which behaved like prisms and unleash a display of colors.
They had spent the afternoon playing with Aurora by running after her all around the castle and ending up at the grounds; Aurora, despite her injuries, was quick and agile like all spontaneous younglings. After consulting several Pokémon, they managed to get to the tower in no time.
“There’s got to be an easier way to get up these stairs…
ORACLE: Avenger Of Darkness Chapter 29“Do you think this is it? The dining room is on the third floor, right?” Luna asked as they approach a huge and elegantly decorated door, similar to many before.
“I don’t know and we better find it soon or Aurora might just eat my ears for breakfast….” Sunny said as Aurora began to grow restless and started to nibble at Sunny’s ear if she caught it. Sunny pushed the door open then the warm aroma entered their noses.
Aurora shifted about until she was leaning on Sunny’s head over looking what was in front. Before them was a full table loaded with various brunch delicacies. Randy was rolling about when they came in.
“Oh hello! Did you all have a nice rest?” Randy asked as he rolled up to them. “The princess is very busy today so she instructed me to tell you that these foods are prepared for you and after you finish, please proceed to the dress room in the east wing tower’s fifth floor.”
ORACLE: Avenger Of Darkness Chapter 28Under the dark scarlet sky with the moon partly covered by the clouds, in a location unknown, there was a secret meeting. The leader of the Snow Diablos, Soren, floated into the specific meeting area and sat down with five other Pokémon. The only source of light was the dimly lit candle at the center. Captain Meriul of the Yucca Pirates had a conversation with a mysterious Pokémon known by the group as the ‘Master’ before the meeting started.
“Prepare for a retaliation from the federation… they would not like it when an entire guild gets captured.”
“I know and I am prepared….” Meriul replied with great respect. Then when everyone gathered, the secret meeting started.
“Glad you came…. Now if that’s everyone, we can start.” A voice said, with its husky texture; its owner concealed behind the darkness of the room. “I heard that you recently failed to get a hold of the object
Last Winter [JackFrostxReader] Pt.30
There was no way you would consider the current body reaction, the extreme shaking, the dryness of your lips, and the moistness that came to your eyes, was due to Jack being so very close to you. Extremely close. Those large bright blue eyes bore into yours with exquisite curiosity and illusionary worry, because your thoughts believed that was the only thing it could be; an illusion.
Your body trembled even more as you gazed back at the reflection of yourself that should never have existed in those eyes. It couldn’t exist. The person in those eyes looked lost and scared, which you had always tried your very best to avoid in any kind of situation. But the worst part in that reflecting image was the love-struck look you had fathom about for years and never had the accuracy to define it correctly.
Jack moved forward and you stepped back, lifting your hands to rub your eyes and blinked several times. Maybe there was something caught in your eyes, a speck of dust, maybe? Perhap
Facing Your Fears :: 6Rehabilitation Process: Day 6...
The days were passing by. Though Persephone seemed keen to keep interacting with Terrence while her sight was impaired, Flora continued pestering her older sister about removing her makeshift blindfold or at least accustoming herself to touching Terrence. She refused to believe that her sister wasn't ready for this next step, as Persephone had been talking to Terrence recently without so much as stuttering even once. Obviously she had been growing more comfortable with the giant spider over the course of the week yet each time Flora suggested their next course of action, Persephone would a way to dodge it.
Unfortunately, Terrence also proved little to no help coercing Persephone; he wanted her to progress at her own pace and didn't in the slightest want to force her into some situation she was uncomfortable with. He sought her trust, after all, and forcing her to touch him might risk that trust. He constantly told Flora th
Neither A Light, Nor A Heat - Part 1Cold wind whistled through the gorge that cut through the Ascarlin Mountains, sending a shiver through Lyne that rattled all the way down to the bone. Below, autumn colors were settling into the woods that surrounded the city of Negav. People were tending warm hearths, cooking dinner as the heat radiated out into the room and melted off the chill starting to settle in. Snow was rare in Felarya's only permanent human settlement, but that knowledge did little to make the winter rains less frigid.
Lyne pulled his cloak around him and hunched forward, trying to keep his hands from the iron barrel of his rifle, which refused to hold any heat. His shirt and pants were at least warm enough to keep the chill off of his wire-thin body, and the mop of loose, curly hair was thick enough to hold in what heat he managed to acquire.
"Liven up, son," said the driver next to him. He dug his elbow into Lyne's side, and about knocked the young man over. "You look like you're keeping a graveyard watch."
Jelsa Edo-jidai AU: Cherry Tree's Branch
Fifty years of a mortal's life
Would be but a fleeting moment
Contrast with the life of Geten
It is nothing but a very dream and illusion
But once they are given life from God
There is no such thing that do not perish
Unless we consider this very seed of awakening
It is a grievous truth indeed
That was the only way Jack was able to summarize his situation upon his arrival at Toketsu Castle.
The Tenshu (main castle tower) was three-stories high, and though small, demonstrates the design required of a castle during periods of war. Standing tall with the height of 164 shaku (164 ft), Jack realized it looked even magnificent up close. The stone walls with large moats and four layers turrets encircles the inner tower of plaster, especially built in order to prevent enemies' siege to scale the walls. But that wasn't what discouraged him the most—It was the size of the annexes and the gard

You, Petra and Levi had moved your little group project upstairs in the family loft. The storm had gotten even worse as time flew by. Working by nothing but the light of the candles and flashlights you were just about finished with your group project. All you had to do was print out the statistics and pie chart and you all were done but of course, the power is out and there's no telling when it's going to come back on again. Your laptop was the only source of entertainment but no one could agree on what movie to watch. And no one meaning You and Levi. So here the three of you were. Sprawled out on the floor in the loft staring into the sky light watching as the rain tapped violently against it and the lightning flashed. Normally, thunderstorms would put you to sleep but this is totally different. Your teeth began to ache due to the munchies you had gotten and your stomach cursed you out loudly for neglecting to fill it up. Levi and Petra both heard this and exchanged looks at ea
Myth City Role-Play: Part One
(I most likely made this look more epic than I ought. But I wanted to do a crime noir style with this one. >w> )
This was done between :iconShadowdancer172: and :iconJessica-Rae-3:. She plays the part of Adair and was the one t start the prompt. I slightly rephrased her first part to fit in a story mode. Enjoy.
Hugh, a werewolf, is a police officer in a city that mixes humans and mythical creatures; which, of course, makes his job much more difficult. While most of these mythical creatures choose to stay in their natural forms, a few - more specifically, the larger ones - appear as humans, so that they can live more comfortably in a human-sized city.
One day, Hugh had to go a few miles outside of the city, into a deep forest, to check up on one person who hasn't paid their taxes or even really visited the city, as far as he knew, in quite a while.
When he reached their home, he grimaced. It's clear this p
Myth City Role-Play: Part Two
(I love the pic still! )
It wasn't until about a week later when Judy was sitting in her office that she got the phone call. She was chewing on some gum while filing down her nails since this was her break, but of course someone would call at that moment. She shouted at the other cubicles, "Phone call!"
No one responded.
She sucked her teeth and then answered the phone with a grumble, "Mythos Taxing Relief. This is Judy Sanders. How may I help you?"
Adair paused, sighed, and replied, in a slightly strained voice (it took a huge amount of effort to degrade himself this way), "I'm having a little trouble, paying bills." He took another breath. He supposed he'd have to tell her the reason, then... "My family has acquired a debt, and I don't have the money." He said shortly, irritation in his tone. He knew he was supposed to be 'polite' or something like that...but it was so difficult, when all he felt like doing was picking a good

It was nightfall by the time the storm blew over. The streets of Rose township were slightly flooded with little debris from trees and garbage. Petra decided to spend the night and went home to get some clothes. As for you, of course you had to stay and watch Levi, whose fever was starting to let up a little bit. After that whole incident, you refused to look at him or even speak to him. Of course he was pissed off about it but he didn't let it show. He pretended not to care, which was a big mistake. He finished his second part of his experiment by seeing how you'd react if he did something that caught you by surprise, which was a big success. But the third and final step of his plan was interrupted by Petra. The third step would have concluded your feelings for him. Your acceptance of him. He was looking forward to tasting your lips. And hearing you moan his name as he kissed your flesh sent him over the edge. He was going to make you his right then and there, but because of Pe
Sonadow: Phantom of the Opera Ch11Chapter 11: Coming Clean
I’ll be honest. I didn’t know what to think at this point. The Phantom is so desperate for love, and I’d feel like shit if I turned him down. The thought of what he’d do IF I chose Ms. Rose scared me to death. However, I do love Ms. Rose as well.
This is confusing. I should… maybe ask Ms. Rose about this, but then… how would SHE react? Sheesh. It’s getting harder and harder to hide this. Mr. Wilson is getting suspicious around me, so I need to do a better job of faking smiles.
Problem is that… it’s hard. Hard faking smiles about love, about what I think is right, and what I think needs to be done. Should I do anything? That’s a stupid question. Of course I should. I don’t want to worry Ms. Rose, but I can’t think of anyone else to turn to. I’ve come so far in this Opera House in such a short period of time. We’ve become great friends, and she keeps insisting that I can t
Short Stories: Pie "Hey Sunny, did you bought the ingredients I asked for?" Caroline asked as she heard the door's lock became undone.
Her little sister, Sunny, came in with a few bags of groceries and set them down on the kitchen table; her uplifting smile asked her older sister's question and she started to unpack. Caroline locked the door before returning to the kitchen to help unpack.
"Why did you ask me to buy this strange stuff that we almost never use?" asked Sunny as she inspected a bag of flour.
"We are going to do a sister to sister bonding session by baking pies!"
The word 'pies' caused a rush of excitement as Sunny always loved to cook things but she was a little loss when it comes remembering recipes so her sister always lend her a hand. Caroline and Sunny split up to gather up all of the required cookery; Caroline also arranged the items that Sunny bought so that it was easier to find what they needed. Caroline instructed Sunny on how to use the oven that was off-limits unless under sup
